The NWMAF General Fund supports our mission of empowering women and girls to achieve personal and collective strength, safety, and well-being through martial arts, healing arts, and self-defense education.
If you want to come to our next event but are having a difficult time with finances, please apply for a scholarship.
The Barbara Feldman Scholarship Fund supports individuals who wish to attend all or part of our annual conference.
Barbara Feldman was an outstanding woman and martial artist who will live on in the memories of her friends and colleagues. In addition to being a martial artist and teacher, she stepped forward as a leader in women's martial arts organizations, serving as an officer for both the NWMAF and the Association of Women Martial Arts Instructors (AWMAI). Barbara co-hosted NWMAF's Special Training conference in 2000 and had volunteered to co-host the 2013 Special Training.
The Peg Strain Women's Empowerment Fund supports individuals or organizations for professional development.
Grants may be requested for attendance at the Self-Defense Instruction Conference, for funding speakers, and for attendance at other professional development. Grants will be made according to available funding.
The NWMAF is invested in supporting practitioners of martial artists, self-defense, and healing arts in various ways. You can help support our mission by making a tax-deductible contribution to our organization.
We are honored to accept donations online, in person at one of our events, or via check.
