Childcare

NWMAF will supply free room and board for a childcare provider if you need to bring your non-participating child (under age 13) with you. Due to liability issues NWMAF is unable to supply childcare providers, but you probably want to use someone you know and trust anyway! If you indicate that you will be bringing a childcare provider we will contact you with further instructions.

Young Martial Artists (YMA) and Teens

The YMA program provides class and social offerings specially targeted at the young, and young at heart. The program will include the opportunity to practice and perform in the demonstration, either individually or as a group. YMA and teens must be registered to attend classes and are welcome to attend either YMA or adult classes based on their interests and experience level.

Demonstration

The Saturday evening Demonstration is open to the public, and is an exciting opportunity to watch women martial artists share their talents.

NWMAF is calling for all interested participants to submit their demonstration information form for the Saturday night All-Camp Demonstration. Our theme this year is “Many Passions, Harmony of Purpose” We encourage women participating in the demonstration to incorporate their own understanding and interpretation of the theme into their demonstration.

Demo Length: Demonstrations must not exceed 3 minutes in length.

Participants: While men and boys are welcome to attend the demonstration, the demonstration participants must be all women and girls.

Deadline: July 5, 2011. We realize that there are situations where it is not possible to finalize organization of a demonstration until participants have arrived on campus, but we request that you complete this application to the best of your ability and submit it by the deadline so that we may plan the demonstration appropriately.

Submit To: demo@nwmaf.org

Bazaar Women who wish to sell items during the Friday evening Bazaar may reserve a vendor table on the registration form.
