NWMAF Members Area

Welcome to the Members Area of the new NWMAF website! There's a lot to see and do, as described below.  First, if you are looking to apply to be a Trainer at ST'10/SDIC'10, please look over the information here.  And watch your email for updates on ST'10/SDIC'10 at Swarthmore College on July 13-18, 2010!

Website Overview

And now for a quick tour of the website.  Above, you'll notice a black horizontal navigation bar which includes general information about the NWMAF.  This is also where you'll find "My NWMAF," which includes all the links to our member-only features.  And to the left, you'll see a menu of ongoing action items we hope you'll take.

Whenever you are logged in, you have access to the following member-only features:

• Your Member Profile
  You'll definitely want to get familiar with your Member Profile, which helps you know that we know who you are!  Your Member Profile is divided into several tabs that organize information about yourself, your training and your school.  Your Member Profile is also where you can set your contact and privacy preferences and where you can view your receipts for membership, donations, ST registration and other transactions.

   

  Please take the time to fill in the blanks in your Member Profile!

   

• Searchable Membership Directory
  Now you can find other NWMAF members, and they can find you!  That is, if you want to be found.  To protect your privacy, we have restricted viewable member information to your name, email address, instructor status and martial arts styles.  By updating your Member Profile, you can further control what information is displayed to the membership.

   

  Please let us know if you have trouble finding what you are looking for.  Based on member feedback, we may allow access to additional fields in the database.

   

• What's Your Opinion?
  Online polls are a quick and easy way for us to take the pulse of our membership.  We want to know what you think about the website, Special Training and more.

   

• Bulletin Board
  Bulletin Board forums facilitate member-to-member communication, without clogging up your inbox!  Right now we've got one forum started to discuss ridesharing to/from ST'08.
